MBS, Inc. staff have decades of combined experience in programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities and in human service organizations, private insurance, and Medicaid billing. President Sandy Landers has over 25 years experience managing financial, personnel, and business functions in the government, nonprofit, and private sectors. Sandy has a master’s degree in public administration, and has served as a Business Manager/Fiscal Director for several county boards of DD. She evaluates business office practices and procedures for CBDD’s and nonprofit agencies; assists organizations with Medicaid billing and compliance; assists counties with accreditation, policy development, and training on financial and service documentation software. She participates in union negotiations, mentors Business Managers and other Finance Office staff, as well as provide financial and management consultation to various organizations serving individuals with disabilities.
The Medicaid Billing Solutions team is a group of dedicated professionals representing a diverse background in Medicaid and private insurance billing and accounting. Staff have experience in Medicaid programs including billing, PAWS, audits, and utilization review; cost report preparation and audits; accreditation reviews; CARF reviews; policy and procedure development; serving on state committees; presenting at various trainings, seminars and conferences; training and mentoring agency staff; and evaluating organizational procedures and processes for efficiency and reorganization. Our team is experienced in the use of Advisor, Gatekeeper, CareTracker, and Infallible software programs, and stays current on laws, rules, and regulations, and attends state and association conferences, seminars, and trainings.
